  1. Day 1 Delhi Arrival (India)

    Meeting & Assistance on arrival at Delhi international airport by Hotel representative and transfer to Hotel. On arrival check into hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

  2. Day 2 Delhi

    Morning after breakfast proceeds for a guided city tour of Old & New Delhi. The commercial and business hub of India, Delhi has been witness to a tumultuous history of uprising and falling of many empires. This hustling and bustling metropolitan city comprises of seven cities that were built by different emperors from time to time. It is perhaps the only city in the world that presents so many contrasts at once - there is the old-age charm and ruins of Old Delhi and there are strong and mighty giant buildings of New Delhi, there are the chic, fashionable belles of South Delhi and there are India lasses dressed in traditional and ethnic dresses, there are sparkling cars firing through wide roads and there are cycle-rickshaws in the streets of more congested areas. Experience Rickshow ride at Old Delhi during sightseeing. Visit the Historical landmark Red fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat, India Gate, Parliament & President House, Humayun’s Tomb, drive through the Diplomatic area, Qutab Minar etc.

  3. Day 3 Delhi - Jaipur (258kms/6hrs)

    Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Jaipur. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Jaipur's bazaars- sells embroidered leather shoes, blue pottery, tie and dye scarves and other exotic wares. The local 'Kundan', style jewellery finds a market throughout the world. The exotic blue pottery, the batik painting, block printed textiles of Sanganer and Bagru, tie & dye fabrics, Mojari- (the local shoe), sandal wood carving items, beautiful stone carvings etc. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

    In the evening Indian Horizons will arrange a short visit of Chokhi Dhani Village followed by Rajasthani Dinner. Chokhi Dhani is a concept to join the rajasthani tribs from the world. Nowadays tourists are very much aware of rajasthan and its culture but still they are far far away from its roots. Real rajasthan is still there in villages, the paintings, art Bani Thani, the wall decorations, the cow dung plaster, the pure food, the fresh air, the evening perfomances, the enthusiasm, the 'manuhar' (mouthful catering), the traditions, the costumes and at last but not least the feelings.   4. Day 4 Jaipur Sightseeing

    Morning after early breakfast excursion to Amber for where you will ride a decorated ELEPHANT to reach a top of the fort, visit Jagmandir, Chamber of glittering mirrors or the temple of Goddess Kali. Followed by guided city tour of Jaipur visiting the Royal City Palace, The Observatory, drives pass Hawa Mahal (the wind palace), followed by shipping at city in the evening.

    In the evening watch an Indian movie at Raj Mandir Cinema Hall considered to be the best of India. Even though, you don’t understand the local language, you can’t resist yourself to get into the mood of the movie with foot tapping music. Fyi, Indian movie industry is known as “bollywood” and the largest film industry in the world as far as making movie is considered. Overnight at hotel.

  5. Day 5 Punakha Excursion

    Your first stop after leaving Thimphu is Dochula Pass. Situated at 10,500 feet above sea level, the pass offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan Range and the valleys below. While in Punakha, visit Punakha Dzong, which the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel, strategically built at the confluence of the Phochu and Mochu Rivers in 1637.

  6. Day 6 Jaipur - Agra (230kms/5.5hrs) - Fatehpur Sikri

    Morning after breakfast drive by surface to Agra. En-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned city of Mughals. The buildings within Fatehpur Sikri are a unique blend of different architectural traditions. Though the general layout and concept of the buildings conform to the Islamic style of architecture, the actual buildings (mainly palaces), their ornate columns, arches, carving style, etc., show a strong Hindu style in general and that of Gujarat and Rajasthan in particular.     In the evening make a short visit to Agra Cottage Industry which have a large collection of variety of handicrafts like tribal crafts in brass and copper wares, paper machie, wooden handicrafts, toys and gift items. Overnight at hotel

  7. Day 7 Agra Sightseeing

    Morning after breakfast proceeds for sightseeing tour of Agra. Agra has found its mention in the famous Hindu epic Mahabharat as the forest of Agraban close to Mathura. Badal Singh founded the city in 1475. Sikandar Lodhi made Agra his capital city. Later, Babur defeated the Lodhis to capture the city situated on the banks of River Yamuna and thus, the long association of Mughals with Agra started. The Mughal love of architecture translated into beautiful monuments such as Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Sikandra. Visit World famous one of the Wonder of the World TAJ MAHAL, built by Shah – Jehan in memory of his beloved wife MUMTAJ. Experience Tonga ride on the way to Taj Mahal, pulled by horses. Also visit Agra Fort- The fort is built alongside the Yamuna river and stretches almost 2.5 km. It consists of a wall built in red sandstone and several buildings inside.

    In the evening experience Henna Tattoo, the art of applying henna to adorn ones palm and feet. Overnight at hotel (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday).

  8. Day 8 Orcha - Khajuraho (173 kms/3hrs)

    After breakfast, we check out from the Hotel and drive to Khajuraho. Here full-day sightseeing tour of both richer distinctive groups of temples are the Western and Eastern group of temples of Khajuraho. Visit to the world famous temples constructed between 950 AD & 1050 AD. The main attractive temples are Chaunset Yogini Kali Temple, the Mahadev Temple, Bharatji Temple with a lovely image of 11 headed Vishnu. Also, visit to Parasvanath Temple, the only exisiting Jain Temple in Khajuraho. The other fascinating temples that you can witness at Khajuraho are dedicated to Brahma, Yamuna and Adinath.

    Evening witness Sound and Light show at Khajuraho. The Light and Sound show on the Western Group of temples complex the reminds the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and mark out the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. The 50-minute fascinating show is held in every evening and it runs in Hindi and in English. Amitabh Bachchan, biggest of Bollywood stars, narrates the story of the magnificient temples and his majestic voice attributes a special effect to the show. The tourism department organizes the show, which is not only entertaining but also very informatives. Overnight at hotel.

  9. Day 9 Khajuraho - Varanasi (by Flight)

    Morning after breakfast proceeds for excursion sightseeing tour of Raneh Water Falls. The raneh water falls lies 20 kilometers east of Khajuraho, easily accessible by car (if you are up to it, by bycycle). The road leads into a wooded area, which opens out to the vast expanse of the ken river. Gigantic sandstone boulders along the Ken river make this a perfect picnic and sunbathingdpot. For the bird - watcher this is also an opportunity to study water fowl inn their natural beside the river. Aling a marked pathway you can follow the Ken river as it plunges down gorges. The pink sandstone boulders, sculpted by the water over the centuries, glow like burnished metal in the fading light of the setting sun.

    Evening enjoy Aarti Ceremony with Rickshaw Ride to reach at the famous Ghat of Varanasi, where you will see the hundreds of floating Lamps in the Holy River Ganges, bassically an Hindu form of Worship where people put floating lamps in the Holy River Ganges to fulfillment their wishes.

  10. Day 10 Varanasi

    Early morning Enjoy boat ride at Holy river Ganges, see how the city Varanasi come alive along the banks of the river and people bathing in the holy water and worshiping the rising sun. Witness the conclusion of life at the riverbank holy cremation grounds, back to your hotel.

    After breakfast proceed for half-day temple tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Hanuman Temple, Banaras Hindu university etc. Rest of the day free for leisure activities.

    Afternoon excursion sightseeing tour to Sarnath, where Buddha set in motions the wheel of Dharma and established the Sanga. One of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Witness the ruins of a once flourishing Buddhist monastery and then visit a fine Museum which houses an excellent collection of Buddhist art and sculptures found at the site.   11. Day 11 Varanasi - Kathmandu (by Flight) (Nepal)

    Morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Varanasi airport by Indian Horizons representative to board flight for Kathmandu- Nepal. Meeting & Assistance on arrival at Kathmandu airport by Indian Horizons representative and transfer to hotel, refresh and briefing about the evening program, Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  12. Day 12 Kathmandu Sightseeing

    Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu including the ancient Palace of the Kings, the hilltop Stupa of Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath Temple. Pashupatinath Temple dedicated to the lord Shiva, Gujeswari Mata Temple, Boudhanath, Budhanilkantha & Durbar squire.Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  13. Day 13 Kathmandu - Pokhara ( 200 KM./6-7 HOURS)

    After breakfast, we check out from the Hotel and precede a scenic drive to Pokhara. Enroute enjoy by cable car riding to Manakamana Temple. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

  14. Day 14 Pokhara Sightseeing

    Wake up early to watch the gorgeous peaks during sunrise. After the marvelous view proceed towards Pokhara, a charming city. Morning sightseeing tour includes Pokhara valley, Davis Fall, Mahindra Cave, the famous Seti George and some beautiful temples like Bindabasini Temple, Pokhara Museum. Explore the enchanting town in the evening. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

  15. Day 15 Pokhara - Chitwan ( 155 KM.)

    After breakfast, departure for Chitwan - one of the well-known national parks of Nepal. Arriving Chitwan check-in at respective hotel & go for the evening cultural program. Overnight stay.

  16. Day 16 Chitwan - Kathmandu ( 148 KM./ 4-5 HOURS)

    Early morning Bed tea after Elephant Ride 2 Hour & Back to hotel After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and precede a scenic drive to Kathmandu. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  17. Day 17 Kathmandu - Paro (by Flight) (Bhutan)

  18. Day 18 Paro Sightseeing

    Your tour of Paro includes visits to Ta Dzong, now the national museum, and fascinating Rimpung Dzong. Visit the interesting Drukgyel Dzong from which one has a commanding view of Mt. Chomolhari on a clear day.

  19. Day 19 Paro - Thimphu

    You are driven through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. You will stop en route to visit a Bhutanese farmhouse traditionally built entirely without nails. Your tour of Thimphu includes visits to Simtokha Dzong and Tashichho Dzong, the center of government and religion in Bhutan. Stroll to Changgankha Monastery, and visit the handicrafts emporium.

  20. Day 20 Thimphu

    Visit the lively Sunday Market, where folk from outlying areas come to buy goods. Dressed in colorful traditional garb, these remote mountain dwellers descend upon the marketplace, creating a photographer's delight as they barter among themselves and socialize with friends. This afternoon, visit the memorial chorten built in memory of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck.

  21. Day 21 Punakha Excursion
