Switzerland, the highly popular tourist destination decked with a plethora of visiting places for a majestic vacation. It's a magnetic honeymoon destination in the south of Central Europe. Switzerland is mainly a mountainous country. The place is extremely known for its cool, temperate and always humid climate. The higher mountainous regions in Switzerland display many variations including icy climates. Geographically Switzerland comprises of three very dissimilar parts, out of which the south-eastern half of the country consists of the Alps. Swiss chocolates, Swiss Alps or Swiss watch making industry.
Background:
The Swiss Confederation was established as a defensive alliance among three cantons in 1291. The other localities attached the original three, in succeeding years. In 1499, The Swiss Confederation gained its independence from the Holy Roman Empire. In 2002, the country did not officially become a UN member but retains a strong commitment to neutrality.
